He became known for his calm presence, soulful eyes, and the way he would quietly lean against you when he wanted affection.

Sterling wasn’t dramatic about asking for love. He just wanted to be near his people, enjoy a soft place to rest, and finally feel like he belonged somewhere.

Before long, the perfect family saw exactly what we saw in him all along — a loyal, sweet dog who had simply been waiting for his chance.
