Every now and then, the man would save him a little piece of apple fritter, and before long, the stray dog had a name, a routine, and someone who cared enough to look for him.

One day, Fido did not come by acting like himself. He was tired, unwell, and clearly needed help. That was when Sunny Bear Rescue stepped in to help cover the cost of the vet care he needed. With treatment, patience, and a little love, Fido started to feel better.

But the best part of the story is what happened next. Fido was never a stray again after that day. The man who had been feeding him fritters gave him what he needed most: a safe place, a family, and a home of his own.
