Guatemalan Street Dog is named for the countless street dogs who move through life with grit, instinct, and quiet hope. They learn which hands are kind, where scraps might be found, and how to keep going even when the world has not been gentle to them.

At Sunny Bear Rescue, we see that same spirit in so many dogs who come through our doors. Some arrive scared. Some arrive tired. Some arrive unsure if people can be trusted. But with time, patience, food, medical care, and love, that guarded little spark starts to come back. The tail wags. The eyes soften. The dog who once only knew survival begins to learn comfort.

About This Coffee

This medium roast comes from smallholder farmers in Antigua, Guatemala, a region known for rich volcanic soil, high elevations, and beautifully balanced coffees.

Grown at 1200–1616 meters in volcanic loam soil, this coffee features Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, and Typica varieties. It is fully washed and sun dried, creating a clean, smooth cup with deep chocolate richness, a lively fruit brightness, and a soft butterscotch sweetness that lingers beautifully.
