Cooper came to Sunny Bear Rescue after being pulled from an overcrowded shelter where the constant noise and stress had started wearing him down. At first he seemed quiet and cautious, carefully watching everything around him while trying to figure out if this new place was finally safe.

And then one day… the zoomies happened.

Out of absolutely nowhere, Cooper took off running through the yard at full speed like he had suddenly remembered he was allowed to be happy. Other dogs joined in, toys went flying, and for the first time, you could see the puppy-like joy hiding underneath all the stress he had been carrying.

From that moment on, Cooper fully embraced life.

He became the king of random sprints through the yard, dramatic play bows, and sudden bursts of energy at the exact moment everyone thought things were finally calming down. Honestly, the boy could turn a peaceful afternoon into a NASCAR event in under ten seconds.

Today Cooper is living the fun, love-filled life every rescue dog deserves with a family who absolutely adores his goofy energy and giant heart.
